Family Stop: As a family, we must always remember that God will take care of us. Even when the world seems scary or out of control, God is always IN control. Let's remind ourselves today about God's never changing faithfulness.
April 3: Let brotherly love continue. Hebrews 13:1
April 4: Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be brave and strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13
April 5: Tell the righteous that it will go well for them for they will eat the fruit of their deeds. Isaiah 3:10
April 6: The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are protected. Proverbs 18:10
April 7: Lord, be gracious to us! We wait for You. Be our strength every morning and our salvation in time of trouble. Isaiah 33: 2
April 8: If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. John 14:15
April 9: Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 12:10
Family Stop: Our family should be doing every thing it does - for each other and our neighbors - because love is our motive. Is love truly the motive behind our EVERY action?
April 10: Be imitators of God, as dearly loved children. Ephesians 5:1
April 11: Your every action must be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
April 12: The Lord is my help; I will not be afraid. Hebrews 13:6
April 13: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 1 John 5:11
April 14: He is the living God, and He endures forever; His kingdom will never be destroyed and His dominion has no end. Daniel 6:26
April 15: The righteous will never be shaken. Proverbs 10:30
April 16: Pursue peace with everyone. Hebrews 12:14
Family Stop: We may not, as a family, have peace with everyone we know. There may be some people with whom we disagree. We cannot control other people's feelings or actions, but our goal as a family is have peace with everyone. We will never do anything to keep a disagreement going.
April 17: Whatever you do, do everything for God's glory. 1 Corinthians 10:31
April 18: To Him who loves us and has set us free from our sins by His blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father - to Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revalation 1:5-6
April 19: If possible, on your part, live in peace with everyone. Romans 12:18
April 20: I love the Lord because He has heard my appeal for mercy. Psalm 116:1
April 21: "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" John 10:11
April 22: Guard through the Holy Spirit who lives in us, that good thing entrusted to you. 2 Timothy 1:14
April 23: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful." John 14:27
FAMILY STOP: As a family, we are called to focus on unseen things. This includes our reward in heaven and eternity, but it also means other things that cannot be seen. Things like love and forgiveness. We should pursue those things that can only be seen in our hearts and only by God.
April 24: For the Lord is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations. - Psalm 100:5
April 25: We do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
April 26: Rejoice always! Pray constantly. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
April 27: The Lord your God is among you, a warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will bring you quietness with His love. He will delight in you with shouts of joy. Zepheniah 3:17
April 28: My lips will glorify You because Your faithful love is better than life. Psalm 63:3
April 29: Let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful. Collosians 3:15
April 30: No one has ever seen God. The One and Only Son - the One who is at the Father's side - He has revealed Him. John 1:18
FAMILY STOP: As a family we should never forget that we are the only Jesus some people will ever see. We are the light of the world. Does our family - in the way we live, and speak and live our lives - reflect the image of Jesus to the world around us? Do we dare ask our neighbors what they see in our family?
